Getting Started

Once you have decided to work with Greyden Press on your coursepack, your have two choices of getting information and material to Greyden Press.

You can call Greyden Press at (614) 488.2525 and request our Customer Service department send you an order form. You than fill out the order form, gather up your materials, and send the entire package directly to Greyden Press.

Or

Click on the "Order" tab above to get your coursepack started right here on the Internet. We can upload your electronic content, record all bibliographic information, and get all the other specifics needed to get your course material in to production. Hard copy content is mailed in and joined with your electronic content to build your custom course material.

Whatever method you choose, it is very important that you provide all of the required information. This will help us thoroughly research copyright permissions, create this course material to your exact specification and have it available in plenty of time for the start of class.

What happens once we get all of your material?

  • All content is verified against your order
  • We'll estimate the cost to clear all copyrights associated with your coursepack
  • Confirm receipt of your material and the estimated cost to students
  • If needed, work with a bookstore on distribution of your coursepack
  • Thoroughly research all copyrights and gain clearance for use in your coursepack
  • If copyright clearance has a significant impact on the price of your coursepack, we will contact you for guidance before we proceed with production.

Once production starts

  • Our front end prepress operation processes your material into fully integrated electronic documents.
  • If printed, these files are routed to production for printing, binding, and shipping.
  • If electronic, files are processed into an electronic coursepack for presentation on the Internet.

At each step - whether printed or electronic - your coursepack is continually checked for quality.

Desk copies or preview copies are available for traditional or electronic coursepacks.

Throughout the process, Greyden Press works with all parties
involved to insure the production of high quality, affordable
course material that is delivered in a timely manner.
